Principal Dr Janet Rose gave a talk to T Level students at Bath College on 28 February 2024.

Dr Rose provided an overview and introduction to emotion coaching for students studying T Levels in Early Years at Bath College. The presentation focussed on how emotion coaching can be used as a practical strategy to support children and young people’s self-regulation, behaviours, wellbeing and resilience.

Emotion coaching is one of the approaches Norland students learn throughout their BA (Hons) Early Childhood Education and Care degree and diploma training, which includes modules focused on self-regulation.

Norland is also partnering with Emotion Coaching UK on delivering a new national research trial commissioned and co-funded by the Education Endowment Foundation and the Department for Education’s Stronger Practice Hubs.
