Are you looking for flexible childcare? If you’re a parent in Bath looking for regular wrap-around care or weekend help during term time, or you’re based elsewhere in the UK or overseas seeking holiday cover, hiring a Norland student could be the perfect solution.

In Bath, the Student Job Shop typically focuses on wrap-around and weekend care, while job opportunities across the country and internationally will only be possible during student holidays.

Why hire an undergraduate Norland student?

Hiring an undergraduate Norland student offers the chance to get flexible childcare from a student studying to become a Norland Nanny. Students will be currently undertaking their BA (Hons) Early Childhood Education and Care degree and Norland diploma in Bath. This means they have an understanding of child development, learning and care practices. Please note, their level of experience will depend on the stage of training they have completed at that time.

Every student holds an up to date 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate and an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, giving you peace of mind that your child is in safe hands.

Students based in Bath often look for wrap-around or weekend childcare during term time and holidays. Others may seek opportunities during holiday periods across the UK or internationally. This means they’re flexible to suit your needs. While they are not yet fully qualified Norland Nannies, they bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience gained through their rigorous training.
