Principal Dr Janet Rose will present a keynote lecture on ‘Emotion Coaching: a whole school approach to supporting pupil-teacher relationships and improving student wellbeing and self-regulation’ on 16 June 2023 at the annual Relation-Centred Education Network (RCEN) conference.

The 2023 RCEN conference focuses on the theme of ‘Relational systems: multiple relationships in interaction’. It will take place on 15–17 June 2023 at the University of East London’s Stratford Campus and can be watched for free online.

The conference aims to give attendees an understanding of how educators can create positive educational relations with and among students. Attendees will learn how to help educators develop their own relational capabilities and offer a policy framework to complement or replace cognitive test-based accountability approaches.

For further information about the conference and to register, visit the Relation-Centred Education Network website.
