24/7 support for our students
Norland has partnered with Health Assured to offer all students free access to its Student Assistance Programme (SAP) – 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. SAP is a confidential programme offering support and advice to help you deal with personal or student-related problems, including those that affect your home life, education, health and general wellbeing.
Balancing everyday life with the requirements of studying and home life can create pressures for all of us. Our SAP service is here to support you and alleviate everyday pressures or anxiety life can cause.
Services available
Health Assured offers cover for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year:
- Life support: Access to counselling for problems like anxiety, depression, low mood, relationship issues, sexual and gender identity concerns and exam pressures.
- Legal information: For issues that cause anxiety or distress including debt management, consumer, landlord or neighbour disputes.
- Bereavement support: Health Assured offers qualified and experienced counsellors who can help with grief plus legal advisors to help with related legal matters.
- Medical information: Qualified nurses are on hand to offer support on a range of medical or health-related issues offering practical information and advice.
Health Assured offers support for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by calling 0800 028 3766. If you’re living in the same household as your partner, they can also access the service too, as well as children (aged 16-24, in full time education).
