Tara Nolty MA, AMI - Early Years Lecturer

Tara joined the lecturing team in January 2023. She has extensive experience within leadership, teaching, lecturing and consultancy.

Tara has lectured as a Senior Teaching Fellow for the Institute of Education at UCL on the Early Years Initial Teacher Training Programme and guest lectured at various UK universities. She champions inclusive teaching and learning practices.

Tara is passionately committed to supporting and enhancing educational institutions. She has led projects that involved intervention through supportive team management and development; the implementation of administrative processes, policies, and procedures; and the development of innovative frameworks for outreach, community building, social justice, and institutional change.

Tara maintains a focus for the highest standards in safeguarding and quality. Through her experiences, she has been privileged to work with a wealth of inspired professionals and collaborate with wonderfully unique children and families who have cultivated within her, a passion for developing learning and care cultures that focus on valuing the voices and experiences of all involved.

Tara’s research interests currently lie within the themes of teaching pedagogy, self and society and reflexivity in practice.
