Research Fellow Dr Theodroa Papatheodorou will be delivering a seminar on the legacy of Norland founder Emily Ward as an unsung early years pioneer.

The event is organised by OMEP UK, an international non-governmental and non-profit organisation which defends and promotes the wellbeing and education of children.

Dr Papatheodorou’s talk focuses on the life and legacy of Emily Ward. The talk will explore some of Emily Ward’s key ideas, based on a preliminary analysis of her recently discovered personal notebook and her early writings in The Norland Quarterly which was distributed among Norlanders, as graduates of Norland are known.
