Biography
With over two decades of experience in early years care and education, Rosa-Lyn brings a wealth of practical expertise to Norland. Rosa-Lyn completed a master’s degree in early childhood education and has always valued opportunities to research and stay up-to-date with current initiatives. Her qualifications also include a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Studies (Advanced Early Years), a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status, and a BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing. Rosa-Lyn has also worked as an interim SENCo and as an Early Years Regulatory Inspector for Ofsted conducting visits across a variety of early years settings.
Building on her early work in day nurseries and as a nanny, Rosa-Lyn also has nearly 20 years’ experience as a primary school teacher. She held responsibility as a senior leader in a primary school in Wiltshire, successfully leading the early years team alongside her own Reception class for many years. Her early years experience has also been enriched through roles beyond the UK, including a teaching exchange in Australia and nanny positions in Europe and the UK.
