Journalist Emily Cope from The i Paper recently visited Norland to learn about our BA (Hons) Early Childhood degree and integrated Norland diploma training. The article explores the heritage and evolution of the Norland uniform, how Norland’s unique training programme continuously evolves in line with the latest research including self-regulation and neuroscience, and how Norland students are taught best practice to ensure our graduate Norland Nannies continue to provide the very best early childhood education and care.

The article includes interviews with Principal Dr Janet Rose, Head of Graduates: Placements, Employment and Alumni Elspeth Pitman, third-year student Beth and Head of Students Sam.

The article was published online on 14 February 2025, and in The i Paper in the weekend edition on 15-16 January 2025.
