Norland is delighted to have won the Silver Award for the Best Prospective Student Journey/Experience at the UK’s national Heist Awards.

For over 30 years, the Heist Awards have recognised excellence and innovation within the higher education sector. Dubbed higher education’s Oscars, the Heist Awards celebrate outstanding university marketing teams across the UK.

The judging panel was made up of senior and experienced leaders and marketing professionals from universities and industry experts from around the UK. In selecting Norland for the Silver Award, the judges commented on how the Norland prospective student journey and experience was especially “thoughtful, personal and impactful”.

Dee Burn, Head of Marketing, Student Recruitment and Brand at Norland, said: “We are thrilled to have won this award. As one of the smallest degree awarding providers in the country, we’re delighted that our hard work and commitment to delivering an exceptional journey for our prospective students from first enquiry through to enrolment and beyond has been recognised nationally!

“Most importantly, this award is testament to the passion and dedication of staff across Norland in ensuring that the life-changing opportunities it offers are available to all and that every aspect of the student journey reflects our welcoming, nurturing and inclusive community.”

Norland beat many significantly larger universities around the UK to earn the Silver Award for its outstanding prospective student journey. The award makes Norland a triple award-winner this academic year. In April, Norland was named the top Small or Specialist Provider in the UK at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2023. In autumn 2022, Norland was named winner of the Inspiring Course award at the UK’s Independent Higher Education Awards.
