Norland is delighted to announce it has been awarded first place for Independent Higher Education (HE) provider at the Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs) in London.

The WUSCAs are an annual celebration of the best university and higher education institutions in the UK. Every award has been voted for by students, using over 41,000 reviews collected during 2018.

Dr Janet Rose, Principal of Norland, said: “We are thrilled to be awarded the best Independent HE provider in the country. We have continued to work hard to offer an outstanding course for our students and it is wonderful to hear they are satisfied with our efforts. This award is particularly meaningful to us because it is the students themselves who voted for it.”

Norland was also recently granted taught degree awarding powers by the Privy Council, which was is a major step towards the college’s ambition to become the first specialist early years university in the world.
