Norland was honoured to welcome senior leaders from Bath’s universities and higher education providers

On 22 October, Norland was delighted to host a visit from representatives of the University of Bath, Bath Spa University and Bath College for a meeting with Norland’s Executive Leadership team.

The delegation included Professor Cassie Willson, Pro-Vice Chancellor at the University of Bath; Professor Georgina Andrews, Vice Chancellor of Bath Spa University; and Mr Kevin Hamblin, Principal and Chief Executive Officer of Bath College. They met with Dr Janet Rose, Dr Rebecca Digby and Rob Cole from Norland’s Executive Leadership Group.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to discuss shared strategic aims and future plans for Norland and its fellow Bath-based higher education institutions. It also served to highlight Norland’s unique position as a specialist provider, particularly its distinctive ‘golden triangle’ approach to training – combining academic knowledge, practical skills and immersive hands-on experience.

The engagement included a guided tour of Norland’s facilities and opportunities to meet staff and students from across the institution, as well as to view several lectures.

This visit comes at a pivotal time for Norland as the institution prepares to take the next step in its application for university title, fulfilling its ambition to become the world’s first specialist university dedicated to early childhood.
