Principal Dr Janet Rose will lead a workshop at the Attachment Research Community (ARC) Annual Conference on how to implement emotion coaching in schools on 19 November 2024. 

The one-day ARC conference in Birmingham focuses on the theme ‘Creating a Relational Solution’ and will highlight the connections between education, health, social care and criminal justice to help improve outcomes for children and young people. It will feature keynote speakers including motivational speakers and practitioners specialising in behaviour, policy, and education to discuss how different areas can come together to create an education that is informed by emotion and attachment. 

Dr Janet Rose will be leading a workshop in her role as co-founder of Emotion Coaching UK at the ARC Conference. Dr Rose, alongside Emotion Coaching UK co-founder Dr Louise Gilbert, will be running a workshop titled ‘Implementing Emotion Coaching in Schools: Key factors for success’. The session will explore effective ways to implement emotion coaching drawing on research to highlight factors for success and supporting practitioners to embed emotion coaching into their practice.
