Norland was delighted to welcome delegates from the International Nanny Association (INA) to Oldfield Park.

On 20 March, Norland was thrilled to welcome a group of INA Conference delegates from Australia and the US. The group, led by INA President Cate Matijevich took time away from the INA conference in London, to visit our Oldfield Park campus.

The visit included a comprehensive tour of our campus and facilities, with the group gaining an insight into the Norland curriculum. Attendees joined degree lectures ‘The Baby Years’ and ‘Promoting Health in Practice’ and diploma lectures including sewing and food and nutrition.

Following the tour, Principal Dr Janet Rose hosted an engaging presentation that focused on the evolving landscape of nannying and the essential skills required to become a Norland Nanny in today’s childcare environment. Participants had the chance to discuss and ask any questions about Norland’s innovative approaches towards caregiving. An interesting discussion was had about the importance of raising the status and value of the home-based educare profession.

This visit not only strengthened the relationship between Norland and the INA, but reinforced our shared commitment to raising standards in the nannying profession.
