Norlander and Associate Lecturer/Consultant Julia Gaskell is a guest speaker at the commemorative conference at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University

The ‘Early Childhood Development and Family Studies: Research and Practice’ international conference brought together researchers, professors, students and educators to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University for Girls on 17 April. Topics discussed throughout the conference varied and included creating an educational environment for the development of children from an early age, forms of family dysfunction, best practices and innovations in early childhood development, and creating an inclusive education system.

Julia was invited to speak during the plenary session about Norland, its mission, philosophy and approach, as well as how the teaching on its BA (Hons) Childhood Education and Care degree and Norland diploma is informed by the latest research.
