Principal Dr Janet Rose is the guest speaker at the annual Emotional Literacy Support Assistants (ELSA) conference organised by BESTBrent on 3 July 2024.

This conference, organised by Brent Education Services & Training, on ‘Emotional health – keeping the balance’ is led by Brent Education Psychology Service (Brent EPS). The day will focus on bringing together attendees to share and learn strategies for supporting young people in the early years, primary and secondary context. Dr Janet Rose is guest speaker, alongside several workshops and presentations from Brent ELSA schools.

Dr Janet Rose will give a keynote speech titled ‘An introduction to Emotion Coaching’. Dr Janet Rose is co-founder of Emotion Coaching UK, an organisation which trains and researches the use of Emotion Coaching as a practical strategy to support the development of children’s and young people’s self-regulation, behaviour, wellbeing and resilience. Other workshops during the conference, delivered by the EPS team will focus on psychological first aid, the PERMA model of wellbeing and zones of regulation.
