Dr Dan Wuori, Founder and President of Early Childhood Policy Solutions, shares a presentation titled ‘Bringing Child Development to Life’ with Norland staff and students.

Staff and students are delighted to welcome Dr Wuori, author and Founder and President of Early Childhood Policy Solutions consultancy, for a presentation as part of the Norland research series bringing his expertise in early years leadership to staff and students at Norland.

Dr Wuori has worked in early years leadership for more than 30 years. In his current role, and in his prior position as founding Director of Early Childhood at The Hunt Institute, Dr Wuori has worked alongside governors and state legislators to improve early years policy across the United States.

In addition to his policy work, Dan has an educational platform across his social media with more than 250,000 followers tuning in to his daily video child development lessons. Dr Wuori also recently published his new book The Daycare Myth: What we get wrong about early care and education (and what we should do about it) in 2024 exploring the costly disconnect between what we know about the science of early development and our public policy.

In this session, Dr Wuori will analyse video clips presenting lessons around child development. This presentation also forms part of Dr Wuori’s UK and Ireland book tour where he will reflect on child development concepts, comparing American and British children’s policy.
