Meeting with your academic tutor
Your tutor may send you a Teams meeting invitation.
To join a meeting:
- Open the meeting invite
- Select Join
- Choose your audio and camera settings
- Select Join now
Before joining, you can:
- Turn your camera on or off
- Mute your microphone
- Check your speaker and microphone settings
Getting ready for your tutor meeting
Before your meeting:
- Check that your microphone and camera are working.
- Find a quiet space where you can talk without distractions.
- Make a note of any questions or topics you’d like to discuss.
- Join the meeting a few minutes early if possible.
During your meeting, you can:
- Use your camera if you feel comfortable doing so.
- Share your screen if you need to discuss a document, assignment, or resource.
- Use the chat to share links or documents with your tutor
