Academic integrity and plagiarism

Academic integrity is an important aspect of your role as a student.

It encompasses transparent referencing of the ideas of other people or generative technologies, adherence to ethical frameworks, and respecting the views of others. Plagiarism is the act of presenting other people’s ideas as your own. You may use generative AI provided you do so in accordance with Norland’s guidance.

Students will benefit from completing the Open University’s short online course which explores academic integrity in greater details and provides guidance on avoiding plagiarism.
