Biography
Martin Clarke is the Chair of the Norland Board of Directors. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant who retired as a senior partner with Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte LLP) in 1996. Until 2007 he was chairman of two PLCs. He was Chair of the Board of Governors and Pro Chancellor of De Montfort University, from whom he was awarded an honorary Doctor of the University. For 24 years he served as a Governor of Merchant Taylors’ School, Northwood. He currently chairs a small housing association providing sheltered accommodation for the elderly and is a non-executive director of several companies. In addition to being the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Martin is the Chair of the Nominations & Governance Committee and sits on the Finance Committee.
