Biography
Gabriella Pugh is a Newly Qualified Nanny (NQN) Consultant at Norland and joined the team in April 2023. This role includes training, preparing, supporting and assessing our students through their first year of employment as NQNs. The role also includes working collaboratively with the families that employ our NQNs.
Gabriella graduated from Norland in 2016 with a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Development and Learning. After completing her Newly Qualified Nanny (NQN) year, she gained her Norland diploma and qualified as a Norlander in 2017. She brings seven years of professional nannying experience, working with families across the South West and London. She has cared for children aged 0–7, including twins, and has travelled internationally with families.
Prior to joining Norland, Gabriella further developed her professional experience as a Family Practitioner within a Children’s Centre, alongside her nannying role. In this position, she delivered parenting programmes and early years classes for children under five, as well as providing in-home support in collaboration with Outreach Workers. She also qualified as a certified infant massage instructor (CIMI) and ran infant massage classes at the Children’s Centre for parents and caregivers in the local community.
Gabriella is passionate about guiding students as they transition into professional practice. She uses her extensive experience and knowledge to support students and NQNs throughout their NQN year, helping them to uphold the highest standards of care and professionalism.
