Emma Blythe BA (Hons), MA - Senior Administrator

Emma joined Norland in 2021 from the Holburne Museum where she was Project Assistant, administrating the Pathways to Wellbeing Project since July 2019. While working for the Holburne, Emma developed the digital content for the Pathways to Wellbeing web pages and coordinated the transitions between face-to-face and online art groups during periods of national lockdown. Prior to this, Emma worked at Bath Abbey and for the Bath and North East Somerset Council (B&NES) Library Service. For Bath Abbey, Emma was Operations Support/Verger providing support to all departments, events and liturgical services including Norland graduations. As Senior Library Assistant for the B&NES Library Service, Emma worked on the frontline and completed workroom tasks. Emma was a lead trainer during the introduction of a new library management system. Following participation in the procurement phase, Emma was instrumental in building and delivering the training package and resources as well as being a key contact for troubleshooting the new system once it went live. Emma has an undergraduate degree in history and a master’s degree in medieval studies. When not working, Emma can often be found exploring castles and churches or volunteering for the Churches Conservation Trust.
