Biography
Eleni is a Research Assistant at Norland with a background in Education and Psychology. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Primary Education from the University of Ioannina, an MSc in Education, Technology and Society from the University of Bristol, a PhD from the University of Bath and an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. She has 10 years of experience in teaching and research in higher education. Her research explores how children use digital technologies and their impact on learning and development, and she is interested in topics related to assistive technologies, assessment, motivation and human-computer interaction. She has collaborated with universities in the UK and internationally, industry partners and charities, including The Egg theatre, 3P Learning, Anki, and Voices for Life. She has extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research and has designed a range of research instruments for children. Eleni is also a Teaching Fellow at Bath Spa University where she teaches Educational, Developmental and Cognitive Psychology and supervises dissertation projects. She is passionate about science communication and regularly contributes to public engagement events, including Bath Taps into Science and school talks to introduce psychology topics to children aiming to inspire the new generation of scientists.
