Biography
Charlotte Stilwell is an experienced educator, governance leader and specialist professional whose 41-year career in dentistry and prosthodontics has spanned hospital, general and specialist practice. Alongside her clinical work and contributions to professional publications, she has played a significant role in developing standards in education, assessment and professional learning nationally and internationally.
Charlotte has extensive experience in undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional education, including blended learning, assessment design, trainer development and invited speaking. Her roles have included Lecturer at Queen Mary University London, Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Senior Lecturer at the University of Geneva and the University of Bristol, and founder member and past Editor-in-Chief of an online education platform for the International Team for Implantology. As international President and Chair of the Board of Directors of the International Team for Implantology, Charlotte led a global academic organisation of more than 25,000 members, overseeing education, research, leadership development, events and scholarships. She brings strong strategic governance, educational quality and professional development experience.
