Set 148 student Branwyn supported her uncle, Glenn Meyer, in completing an incredible 37‑mile hike in aid of The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Charity.

Branwyn, alongside her friend and Set 147 student Charlotte, trained with Glenn to help him prepare for the challenge, which took him from his home in Surrey to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, Middlesex. The hike followed Glenn’s life‑changing spinal fusion surgery.

Branwyn and Charlotte’s emotional and practical support played a significant role in Glenn’s achievement, which has already raised £11,000 for the hospital’s charity.

Donations can be made via Glenn’s Just Giving page.
