Norland was delighted to host the Sustainable Fashion Week Hub: Bath.

Sustainable Fashion Week (SFW) is a communityled project emphasising the importance of sustainability in the garment industry.

SFW 2024 ran from 23 until 29 September, with events and activities hosted by SFW hubs across the UK and internationally.

Norland was delighted to be a part of SFW 2024, offering workshops for all ages, a clothes swap and a conversation on how to develop a conscious wardrobe. Proceeds from the events were donated to support sustainability focused charities Fashion Revolution and Labour Behind the Label

Sustainable fashion resources

As part of our SFW 2024 activities, Norland Sewing Lecturer Kate Jaeger has put together a list of resources to learn more about sustainability, the impact of the garment industry on the planet and how we can all do more to support sustainability and shop responsibly.
