Post title: Recruiting Coordinator

Salary: Grade G, £27,955-£30,409

Hours: Full time

Location: York Place, London Road, Bath, BA1 6AE and 39-41 Upper Oldfield Park, Bath, BA2 3LB

Would you like to work for an organisation steeped in history but focused on the future and recognised worldwide as an organisation of excellence?  An organisation that promotes a healthy work/life balance and recognises and rewards achievements?  If so, then Norland is the place for you.

Our award-winning early years undergraduate degree and integrated diploma programme is world-renowned for delivering outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for our students. In March 2019 we were also granted Taught Degree Awarding Powers (TDAP) by the Privy Council and now offer our own BA (Hons) Early Years Development and Learning degree alongside the prestigious Norland diploma. We were recently named the top university in the UK for enhanced graduate outcomes in the 2021 Whatuni Student Choice Awards.

We are looking to appoint a full-time Recruiting Coordinator to join our busy and thriving Consultancy, Agency, Alumni and Training (CAAT) department. As part of this role, you will liaise with Norland graduates to identify suitable candidates for clients’ positions and liaise with the Agency Consultants to put those candidates forward, fulfilling the expectations and requirements of both candidate and client as well as liaising with Norlanders to ensure the correct documentation is in place prior to placements.

The successful candidate will also provide support to the Agency Consultants, working within the team contributing towards achieving the department targets whilst maintaining a high level of professional customer service and confidentiality.

You must have experience of working in a busy office environment, strong customer service skills and be educated to A-level or equivalent. A business administration or recruitment qualification or experience of working in recruitment is not essential, but would be an advantage.

You will need to be a self-starter, with the ability to get on well with people, be highly organised in order to meet deadlines and work to a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. A flexible approach to work and a friendly, approachable nature are key to being successful in this role.

Norland employee benefits:

  • Competitive salaries and pay progression
  • Generous holiday entitlement, including an extra day off on your birthday and 4 closure days at Christmas
  • Free staff parking
  • Support with continued professional development both financially and with study days
  • Free tea and coffee
  • Occasional staff lunches
  • Staff and departmental away days
  • Discounts with Sodexo
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Access to a digital mental health and wellbeing service
