We know that attending an open day is a significant part of your decision to study at Norland. Whilst we are unable to welcome you to our campus, we are delighted to bring a taste of Norland to you.
Our second virtual open event takes place between Saturday 24 and Friday 30 October. This week of events will provide you with a valuable insight into all aspects of student life at Norland. You’ll have an opportunity to attend focused presentations and ask those all-important questions to staff, students and graduates at the end of each session.

Discover Norland presentation
Date: Saturday 24 October

Our Discover Norland presentation is the perfect opportunity to gain an insight into what it’s like to study at Norland. Dr Janet Rose, Principal and Mandy Donaldson, Vice Principal will provide a comprehensive introduction to Norland, our unique degree and diploma integrated course and incredible graduate career opportunities.

Our TEF Gold-rated degree, Norland Diploma and value-added curriculum mean that you will be receiving the highest-quality teaching and learning in the early years sector. This a fantastic opportunity to ask our lecturers and students about all aspects of the course.

The student support service at Norland is here to help you with any of your learning support or pastoral needs. We’re here to help answer any questions you have about the issues that affect you, from referencing journal articles to how to claim Disabled Students’ Allowance.

Our dedicated admissions and accommodation team work closely with applicants throughout the whole application process. This focused Q&A will allow you to ask any questions you may have about your application to Norland and the accommodation you can expect to live in in your first year.

Time: 2-3pm
We understand that financing your studies is an important aspect of studying at Norland. Our friendly finance team will provide an overview of the various options to support your fees and living costs. You will also have the opportunity to hear from a Norland student who will share how they have funded their studies.

Live Q&A - Careers and employability
Date: Thursday 29 October
Time: 12-1pm
The Norland Agency works exclusively with Norland graduates to place them in positions all over the world. Our career-focused Q&A will allow you to explore the opportunities that studying at Norland can offer. A member of our Newly Qualified Nanny (NQN) team will provide an overview of your fourth year at Norland, which will be spent in full-time paid work with a family. The Norland Agency will also be able to answer any questions you may have on your future career path.
