Win a Weekend in Bath competition
Are you a Year 11, 12, 13 or Level 3 student with an interest in the Early Years, and fancy a weekend in Bath and an opportunity to find out more about Norland?
Norland is delighted to launch a competition to win a weekend in Bath coinciding with our May 2020 Open Day for students in Years 11-13 studying in the UK. This competition offers prospective Norland students from around the UK the opportunity to enjoy a weekend in Bath for two and attend our Open Day on 16 May 2020 to find out more about our degree with a difference.
How to enter
The competition focuses on the topic: 'Reflect on what makes a wonderful childhood.'
We’re looking for a creative response in any media format you’d prefer:
- short film or audio podcast lasting no longer than five minutes
- an essay no longer than 500 words

Are you a teacher or careers adviser?
Teachers and careers advisers can get involved too. With your help, Norland hopes to reach out to as many students interested in studying and pursuing a career in the Early Years as possible. The teacher or careers adviser that encourages the most applications will win a Bath goodies hamper.

Prizes
- The winning student will receive return travel for two to Bath as well as two nights' accommodation in a central Bath hotel and tea for two in the Pump Rooms on the weekend of 16 May 2020.
- Two runners-up will each receive a voucher (of their choice) worth £75.
- The teacher or careers adviser that encourages the most applications will win a Bath gift hamper worth £100. Teachers or careers advisers wishing to enter the competition must complete this form.
Competition entrants must be a current Year 11, 12, 13 or Level 3 student enrolled at a school or college in the UK.
Entries:
- Must be received via the Norland website before 31 January 2020 at midnight (GMT).
- Will be judged by the Norland competition panel, including members of the academic team.
- We would like to share select competition submissions on our channels including our website and social media accounts and will seek your consent to do so.

Entrants to the Win a Weekend in Bath competition must be:

A Year 11, 12, 13 or Level 3 student on 31 January 2020

Enrolled at a school or college in the UK

A British citizen, have ‘right of abode’ in the UK or a national of the European Economic Area or Switzerland

- The winner will receive travel for two from a UK mainland location to Bath, two nights’ accommodation in a central Bath hotel and tea for two in the Pump Rooms on the weekend of 16 May 2020.
- Two runners-up will each receive a voucher (of their choice) worth £75.
- The teacher or careers adviser who encourages the most applications will win a Bath gift hamper, worth £100.
- Prizes are non-negotiable and no cash alternative will be offered.
- In order to share the winner's experience with contestants as well as prospective students, the winner will be asked to either write a travel diary (300 words minimum) accompanied by pictures, or a vlog that will be published on the Norland College website and social media accounts.
