• Katie runs a half marathon

    Senior Lecturer Katie Crouch will be running the Bath Half Marathon in March 2020. Katie has never run a half marathon before and will be raising money for the SHINE charity who previously supported her family. To find out more about SHINE and Katie’s story, click here.

  • London Marathon for Nerve Tumours UK
    April 2020 £4,000

    Kate Tillotson and Kate Whitehead in Set 42 will be running the London Marathon in April 2020 to raise money for Nerve Tumours UK. Kate Tillotson ran it last year too, raising £4,000 for the same cause.

  • Niamh’s Bristol 10k
    May 2020

    Set 41 student Niamh is running her first ever 10k when she runs the Bristol 10k for Children's Hospice South West in May. Donate here.

  • Anorexia Awareness
    November 2019 £230

    In November, students and staff at Norland wore purple to raise awareness of anorexia and show support to fellow student Mima who is recovering from the eating disorder. 

  • MacMillan Coffee Morning and Raffle
    September 2019 £200.00

    A coffee and cake morning, and raffle raised £200.00 for MacMillan Cancer Support. This event was organised by Lydia King and Maisie Ryan.

  • Sensory, Snacks and Slippers for World Mental Health Day

    A Sensory, Snacks and Slippers event that was organised by the Hear to Here team (led by Emily-Louise Moore) raised £180.11 for Bath Mind as part of World Mental Health Day.

  • Raffle for RUH Forever Friends Appeal

    Kate Jaeger, Sewing Lecturer, raised £10.00 selling raffle tickets in aid of RUH Forever Friends Appeal on 29th October! 

  • Skydive
    September 2019

    Norland student Georgia took part in a charity skydive at 15,000 feet along with her brother James in memory of their grandmother, who was in fact a Norlander. Donations can be made on their JustGiving page.

  • Tough Mudder for CHSW

    Millie and Emily, Set 41 students, completed a Tough Mudder and raised £235 for Child Hospice South West!

  • Bath Half Marathon
    March 2019 £2,351

    Five Norland College students - Rachel, Gemma, Jenny, Chloe and Hannah - took part in the Bath Half Marathon on Sunday 17 March 2019 and managed to raise a combined sum of £2,351!

    The money will be split between the Children's Hospice South West (CHSW), Alzheimer’s Society, ECHO and Bath Mind.

  • Red Nose Day
    March 2019 £276.58

    On Wednesday 13 March 2019 our students organised a non-uniform day along with other fundraising activities to raise money for Comic Relief, ahead of Red Nose Day. There were plenty of cakes baked by students and staff across both Oldfield Park and York Place sites. 

    For one day only, students were allowed to wear bright red lipstick!

  • Fundraising for Children’s Hospice South West

    The Norland Charity Committee raised an amazing £2,356 for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW). The money was raised by holding a charity ball, a non-uniform day and a cake sale and by collecting money in Bath.
